![]() ![]() ...Vs. The Dark Queen of the Underworld - Merlina Well now, there was no way I was passing this one up. Excalibur-Sonic faces one-time ally Merlina to decide the fate of the Kingdom of Camelot and its people... Notes: -Well, it may have taken a while in my standards, but it was all well worth it. (I could have drawn a whole boss pic in the time it took me to draw just Sonic.) -The perspective didn't quite play in my favor (wanted Sonic bigger) but it works out all the same. I'll keep it brief. -Don't want to start rambling. Concept - Sonic Team Pic - *Hazard-the-Porgoyle Comments
Holy god this is awesome.
-- "I'm still curious as to where Donald and Goofy vanished off to and as to how Sora survived that huge explosion just by covering his eyes with his hand." ~ ~SuperMimbles360 on Axel's Sacrifice oo daaaaamn....... i was wondering when you would finally do this one! >> theres very few people who can memorize the details of the characters so well, especially two with such complex disigns. But i knew you could ^^
-- Scion If ur a Sonic Fan, U MUST READ CHAOS THEORY!!! (go to my page dumbass xD) I must say, this was one of my favorite moments. Sonic dawns the armor and faces the twist boss, with that awesome song (With Me) playing. I like the detail of the picture. Oh yeah, I don't know about you, but when I saw Excalibur Sonic's finisher, all I could think was "Final Smash!"
-- "When the world gets in my face, I say, 'Have a nice day.'" - Bon Jovi You were looking forward to this that intently, huh? Thanks. And boy, these two and their designs... What made Sonic even more challenging was my refusal to use just the official artwork for reference. The high resolution 3D model from the game actually accounted for most of the details.
Thanks for the comment! -- "When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all..." - Futurama |
