Sept. 24, 2009 Update: Boss was shaded from scratch and textures have been improved. Sonic's redrawn. Not the best drawing of him, but it's a step up from the old version.

Well, I always thought my Solaris Phase 2 pic [link] seemed a little bland, and with a needed nudge, this is what I ended up with.

Notes:
- I'm definitely seeing an improvement with my ability to sketch what I want the pic to appear as and actually making it appear as that. (Incase you're wondering, no, I don't actually bring the sketches onto the computer - I eyeball it.)
- Still need to work on my foreshortening skills, though...
- The title is a nod to the requester's own pic of Solaris - [link]

i've just defeated the last episode of the ps3 game: Sonic '06. it was SO hard! :XD: after my father and i figured it all out (and i had 0 lives left) i JUST defeated him! it was EPIC! this pic resembles what i was thinking in my head as sonic waited for silver to switch! :XD: but it made me SO shakey with excitement when i won... ^^

I hope to eventually cover the Time Eater's battle, but the sheer complexity of that boss probably means I'll have to wait until more resources come out, like maybe a 3D model that I can keep stationary and view from any angle I please.
