Wow, where to start... I've been using Flash all along for every picture I've made, but I thought it was time to use it for its intended purpose. This is the next to ending cutscene for a Sonic game I don't really think I'll do more for than this, but hey, this animation only took as long as the pics I normally make anyway, so... Now, I'm not claiming to be the great lord of sprite animations, and I know people will say this sucks. This is where you come in. See any glaring defects you want me to fix? Let me know, and I'll see what I can do. The plot incase you don't get it: Sonic is falling after a Super Sonic battle and lands in (insert zone name here.) Eggman, not having been part of said battle, uses his time to steal the Master Emerald - Which lies in the Hidden Palace Altar instead of its normal one for reasons unknown. Sonic feels something's wrong with the emeralds' balances, and is assured of it when Eggman flies by with the Master Emerald in tow. The chase is close until Eggman reaches his mech, which fires a laser that blasts Sonic away. Eggman escapes, and Sonic doesn't know what to do when out of nowhere, the Super Emeralds' power feeds into him. The ghostly images of the Chaos and Super Emeralds whiz around Sonic until Hyper Sonic is reborn. He bolts after Eggman towards a battle that will determine to fate of all of the emeralds, and then... ...the game crashes. Yay. Run time: 1:15 FPS: 25 Approx. 1,875 Frames. Comments The only thing that sticks out to me is the sky during the chase seems to be pixlilated. It might have to do more with what the source material was (I haven't touched the Advance series in ages). Other than that, the animation was very fluid. Including that hole in the ground Hyper Sonic left blasting off into space!!
 -- "Wishes Are Eternal..." I see what you mean about the BG. It's a palette modification on a Sonic Advance BG, and the only way I could see fixing the problem would be to blur or redo the BG. I fear the blur may add lag, or decrease frame rate. I'll look into that. Thanks for the critique!

 Very nice, it's great that you're attempting animations.
Are you planning on doing more? I was interested in this one; but was a little disappointed that it ended so abruptly.  I loved the way you animated this, it looked really awesome! I started cacking up at the ending, I absolutely love it =]

Yeah, I realize the ending cuts things a little short, but I meant for this to be a test, so I didn't want to go overboard on my first outing. -- "When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all..." - Futurama  XDDDDD. funny beyond all belief. It'd seem like a fun boss battle.
