Sonic Vs. Emerl

As Eggman’s nefarious scheme to control the Gizoid succeeds, and promptly fails, Sonic finds himself with an impossible task to complete – destroy what he has fought so hard to create. With the most sophisticated creation of the Nocturnus now ready to bring the world to an end, will Sonic bring himself to end the free spirit he has shaped? A tragic tale unfolds…

Production Notes:
- It's been a little while since anyone's seen anything new from me, eh? Sorry about that. I've been trying to work on an advanced animation project, and while I can't complain much about its progress, it's still taking a long time. This picture only took about 3 days, just to give you a measure for the size of the animation project.
- Sonic and Emerl's poses are indeed a throwback to Sonic and Metal Sonic's poses from that iconic JP Sonic CD artwork. They aren't meant to be identical, but at least recognizable.
- Feel free to ask if you have any specific questions. If I went into all of the little nuances of this piece here, I'd be typing all day.
